Woodstock, ON - Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of the Minor Atom and Minor Midget Rep teams who each won their division at the International Silver Stick "A" Championship this weekend in Newmarket! 

 

The Atoms defeated Cobourg 4-0, Newmarket 5-1 and Atlanta 3-2 in the round robin, Orillia 4-0 in the semi-final and Wellington Center 2-0 in the final.  The Midgets defeated Boulder 4-0, tied Atlanta 5-5 and defeated Santa Clara 11-1 in the round robin, defeated Phoenix 7-2 in the quarter-final, defeated St. Mary's 6-4 in the semi-final and Atlanta 2-1 in the final.
