SSE London Wild Player Wins Trip to 2012 Olympics Through atoMc™ Hockey Contest! - 5/7/2012

Stratford, ON – This past March, McDonald’s® Canada offered a contest featuring three (3) atoMc™ Hockey players, and one (1) Équipe McDoMD player, the opportunity to see sport at the highest level on the world stage by inviting “permitted coaches” to nominate them to be a McDonald’s Champions of Play and attend the 2012 London Olympic Games with their parent/legal guardian.  Out of the numerous entries submitted, Isaiah Clelland of the SSE London Wild was selected as the Ontario Representative!  Thanks to the essay and nomination submitted by Isaiah’s Coach Allan Lafleur, Isaiah and his Dad will be enjoying three nights’ accommodation in London, England (August 9-12, 2012), tickets to two Olympic events, airfare, airport transfers, ground transportation, meals and more!

The nomination process for Coach Lafleur  included submitting an essay detailing why he believed a player on his team exemplifies the team values of atoMc Hockey/ Équipe McDo hockey (values of teamwork, leadership, a commitment to fitness).  From there, a Judging Panel selected three (3) atoMc Hockey players, one from each of the Western, Ontario and Atlantic regions, and one (1) Équipe McDo hockey player from the Quebec region.  Each player selected and the player’s parent or legal guardian will be traveling to the 2012 London Olympic Games courtesy of McDonald’s.

Congratulations to Isaiah, his family and Coach Lafleur for participating in the atoMc™ Hockey Contest and of course, for the win!  Enjoy your trip Isaiah!
