**New** 2009-2010 Changes to Certification Carding
Please note that as of the 2009-2010 season, ALLIANCE Hockey (along with the OMHA and GTHL) will issue certification cards for all Development Clinics without ALLIANCE issued certification numbers. The certificate cards will indicate the participant`s name and the type of certification. In the case of Trainer certifications, the date of expiry will be listed on the wallet card as well.
All bench staff will still be required to sign game sheets in the appropriate area but will not be required to indicate a specific certification number.
All bench staff are required to carry their wallet cards with them on the bench and the team shall also have their approved roster at all games (which will provide proof of certification in cases where it is necessary).
These changes are a direct result of ALLIANCE Hockey transferring to the Hockey Canada Registry, the national database system.
NOTE: ALLIANCE Hockey Level Coach and NCCP Development 1 clinics include Body Checking certification.
Participants needing just the Body Checking certification may attend the specific modules held within the indicated coaching clinics. Please contact the individual clinic coordinators for times and fees.
Participants needing just the Speak Out certification are now required to complete the on-line Repect-In-Sport Program. There will be no stand alone Speak Out clinics or integrated speak out modules offered in the HTCP or NCCP clinics.
*PLEASE NOTE - HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL COACH CLINIC ON-ICE SESSIONS.
